Some bad shit is coming folks.  The exact form is indeterminate.  But something is going to happen. Civilization, as it exists is optimized for maximized profit for the elite (Money Grubbing Scum)  The earth can sustain about 200 million people at the current US life style.  The US can support about 2-3 million at the hunter gatherer level.  I can see no solution that doesn’t involve a population reduction IMMEDIATELY.  Had there been a one child per family policy when I was in high school, we would just now be leveling out at about 4 billion, and perhaps beginning a modest decline.  The video below earth 2100 envisions an ecological disaster which will render civilization destroyed by 2100.  This is mere alarmist propaganda.  Nothing to worry about.  Mankind will be extinct long before then.  Hidden in the overpopulation problem is the problem of optimization.  For several thousand years mankind maintained a sustainable population by practicing crop rotation.  War, famine, disease kept the population down.  Typically there was a town surrounded by farmland.  Food was raised locally and the town provided the industrial base.  Assuming no unforeseen disaster, this town was pretty much self-sustaining.  Crops were rotated to allow the soil to recover.  Cattle shit in the fields returning nitrogen to the soil.  Civilization continued pretty much in this pattern until the 1900’s.  Settlers would establish a town in the center of the best farmland.  Then optimization began in earnest.  With a petroleum fueled economy the suburbs moved onto the best farmland. McMansions on their 1/4 acre estates overran the landscape.  Commutes that were minutes can now be measured in hours.  The local farmers were replaced  with mega-farms which no longer rotate the crops. Cattle are raised in pens in Fort Worth, the grain to feed them in Kansas.  The cattle are shot up with hormones to increase their growth rate which is affecting the population and the environment. Disposing of the cattle shit has become an ecological disaster.  Meanwhile the wheat farms in Kansas have to resort to petroleum based fertilizers and genetically engineered crops to maximize their profit, because they no longer have easy access to cattle shit. The farmland is being laid waste.  The government meanwhile has become a support system for maintaining this maximization of profit, providing the transportation, finance, infrastructure and propaganda necessary no matter what the cost.  It is the system that is the problem.

A failure in any component of this corrupt system will result in a collapse of the whole.  It has become incredibly fragile, a house of cards that can collapse at a moment’s notice.  And it will be swift. A massive rapid kill off of the population.   I see nothing on the horizon that can prevent this.  And it could be anything, any strain on the system will collapse this house of cards.  In high school the population of the earth was 3 billion, now it’s over 6 billion, this cannot happen again.  I have seen the damage that has been done to the ecosystem and it is irreversible.    We have passed the tipping point.  Housewives in el Segundo are recycling, and suburbanites in Des Moines are buying more fuel efficient cars. Diplomats are negotiating carbon credits at the UN.  It doesn’t matter.  There is an unseen negotiator at the table.  Mother Nature, and Mother Nature is a bitch.  She’s going to push the reset button.  You really screwed the pooch on this folks.  It is not the politicians, not the elite, not the nebulous New World Order, it’s not the democrats or the republicans, it’s not the christians or the Moslems or the Hindus.  It’s not an impact by an asteroid or invasion by aliens.  It is not Armageddon or Ragnarök. The problem is YOU.  YOU allowed this to happen.  YOU think that if you’ve got a six pack to suck on while watching the Superbowl everything is OK.  Well, it ain’t.   And you will find out. And it won’t be the hundred year decline envisioned in earth 2100, it will take less than a year.

Watch earth 2100. It’s a 9 part series.  I hope it scares the shit out of you.  You are idiots.  Look what you’ve done.  You have shit in your own nest, even an animal knows not to do that.  Hopefully the collapse will weed you out of the gene pool.

What to do? Dunno

Forgotten God

As anyone following me knows, I am aware of two cognitive minds, and no one else is. So either I’m crazy or every one else is. If you feel I’m crazy you can take comfort in the knowledge you are running with the squirrls. I am fascinated by thinking, or specifically thinking about thinking and the effects of this dual mind we have on the thought process. Certain concepts resonate with me, the feminine god for one. This is to be a never ending post, as I continue to explore, feeding my hungry neurons. I will put these in a new catagory called Forgotten.

Road Not Taken

The first of these resonances is “The Road Not Taken”, a science fiction story in the mid 80’s. It opens with the Roxilian commander of a spaceship bound on intergalatic conquest. He sights out the quartz porthole and adjusts his course with a quadrant. He hopes for a new planet to conquer soon, the stench in the ship is overwhelming. The slopjars are overflowing, the animals have all been eaten, and the plants used to supply the oxygen have all been burned to hold off the cold of interstellar space. They’re running low on musket balls and the black powder is damp and misfires. All of the steeds have since died, but he is certain that their superior technology will allow them to prevail. The entire story is told from the point of view of the Roxilians. These beings are savages, this is a stone age culture with space travel. WTF? to make the story short, they land on the front lawn of the white house and the entire invasion force is blown away by the two dozen secret service agents in half an hour or so. What has happened is that it is humans that have taken the road less traveled. Space travel, time travel, teleportation etc. are relatively simple concepts discovered by most civilizations in a universe teeming with intelligence. Their progress has stopped because they were unable to analyze but thought only in a “right mind” mode.
Fascinating! Road not taken

Sajani Shakya – Child Goddess

The Kumari, or virgin deity, is a Hindu cult practised in Nepal, and represents the reincarnation of Dea Taleju Bhawani, also known in India as Durga. The Kumari are chosen among the Buddhist children of the Newar Shakya caste, resident in Kathmandu for at least three generations; the cast is the same one to which Buddha belonged. Even if chosen among Buddhists they are equally venerated by Hindus. During her annual feast, Kumari Jiatra, she is permitted to go out in public in a covered carriage.

They are born mortal humans, members of the lower castes, but are then elevated to the realms of the living deities; forced to live in isolation from early childhood, without friends and deprived of an education, on their first menstruation or sign of illness they return human once more, have to drastically adapt themselves to the difficulties of everyday life. They are the Kumari, Hinduism’s living deities, who are now beginning to rebel against the “inhuman superstitions” who in Nepal, are forced to live a lonely single life, deprived of affection in the belief that anyone who marries them will die within a few months.

This post is a placekeeper I use as a memopad to resources. It is not complete, nor will it ever be. As I find interesting stuff in regard to the re-emergence of the devine feminine, I will upload them to divshare and provide downloadable links at the bottom. Isopata is a good place to start.

Comentary I see some really disturbing trends in society. In the ’70’s Feminism was an egalitarian movement. It has turned vicious and society is deteriorating rapidly. Consider Islam, what started as an egalitarian inclusive progressive society has been hijacked by wingnuts and we are left with an oppressive society, psychotic in nature. ApocolypseSoon or ReturnToBalance The choice is yours or you can buy your burkas girls.
Isopata – the seal The double Ax was the symbol of the Snake Priestess. The Snake Priestess of Minoan Crete were the keepers of the Goddess’s Double Ax. The Hall of the Double Ax is one of the most complete Goddess worship sites ever discovered. Thousands of devotees would gather there to do the spiral dance.

Celestial Mother

AKA Feminine God Mother God, Heavenly Mother, Sophia, Isis, Lakshmi, Tara, Azna, Gaia, Mother Earth, shakinah, mythos and other names are all aspects of the Divine Feminine

Glorification of the divine feminine. Latter-day Saints infer from authoritative sources of scripture and modern prophecy that there is a Heavenly Mother as well as a Heavenly Father. (This supprised even me.) So what does this all mean? If we look at the world through the spirituality tunnel, we perceive the universe. If we were physicists we may call it the space time continuum. If we are oriental, we may call it Tao. If we are religious we may call it GOD (caps, the real GOD). If we are Hindu we see no distinction. But this is just a word, and the word is not the concept. This perception is evaluated by the right mind in a parallel/boolean network as god. (small caps) this perception is interpreted by the left mind as religion. If the child has been imprinted (instilling values) The algorithm of the left mind is imprinted on the right mind resulting in an ideology, usually permanent, The RBF. The right mind has been hijacked.

If we are oriental we may use the tao mobile. So the words we use to describe TAO is entirely dependent on worldview and whether our mind has been hijacked. (you may call it the space/time continuum, nirvana, god, doesn’t matter, these are all words used to describe our perception of tao.

the Obelisk

Are we approaching Singularity?  Hmm!  I say we are approaching an awareness of singularity that has always been.  A re-folding of the “unfolding in the now” Martin Heidegger  The method espoused by various groups differs, but the central theme seems to be awareness.  A re-connection, not with the universe, but our awareness of the universe.  Method? Dunno.  But it’s gonna be a battle.  The hyper-males which have removed this connectedness are going to fight.  Every previous attempt at connectness has resulted in a collapse of civilization.

If this collapses again, here are some commandments for the survivors.  I reall this has happened once before, IE an obelisk was erected to remind descendents of what happened when a hunter gather society collapsed.  1 500BC – largest existing obelisk  In the wake of the last Ice Age the fertile savanna grasslands continued to dry out and receded to the large river plains of the Nile, Tigris and Euphrates, Indus, Ganges, Chang Jiang and Huang Ho. Following these receding grass plains were the herdsmen and their herds. Population density exploded along the fertile valleys resulting in armed conflict over available land.  Deja vu all over again  MathLab

Might this be the source of the “tower of babel” mentioned in Genesis?  “According to the biblical account, a united humanity of the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating from the east, came to the land of Shinar, where they resolved to build a city with a tower “with its top in the heavens” Time’s right, area’s right, situation’s right.  Could be.  Deja vu all over again.

StarTrek had a different vision of the singularity. The borg a hive mind in which all intelligence is subsumed into a Master mind, leaving the individual little more than a robot.  Not unlike today’s society.  “resistance is futile” again not unlike today’s society.

And then of course there’s 2001, the monolith of Space Odyssey fame.  A bit more benelovent that the other obelisks.  For it’s meaning check here.  Yu WILL be suprised.  The starchild represented enlightment and rebirth  again check here for meaning. This is an interesting site BTW.

Bast is first and foremost a protectress; specifically of the royal house and the Two Lands. Later she got the life-preserving goddess of joy and protector of women. However, Bast’s original role did not include the “cat as sex symbol” archetype. Worshiped in the Delta city of Bubastis and usually depicted as a cat or in human form with the head of a cat, Bast was seen as a protector of cats and those who cared for them. “Cat as sex symbol” doesn’t do a lot for me. I do however have a keen interest in Bastet, the feline aspect of this particular divinity.

Cats were domesticated soon after the agricultural period started. (although from my perspective cats domesticated us). They were really valued by the ancient egyptians. Killing one was a death penalty. There were actually two types of cat. The swamp cat (bastet) and the domestic cat (miu) (pronounced meow). Meow is “people talk” for a cat, by the way. They don’t say meow to each other, they are communicating to people. Hmm! Bastet was viewed as the “eyes of Horus” the egyptian god of flatulence. Cats were revered in Egypt, when the household cat died the members of the family shaved their eyebrows. They were even mumified where people would pay the priests of the temple to mumify a cat. Analysis of these mummies showed that they were “helped in their journey”. So a cat had a pretty good life in Egypt as long as they stayed away from the temples.

This is my interest in the matter. I had one of these things. They’re somewhat bigger than a domestic cat. Their tail is also thick and bony. When agitated, he would flip his tail back and forth and if it hit your shin, it hurt. Most distinct was his head, his nose went from the top of his skull straight to his nose, his head was thin which meant he had to look directly at you giving the appearance of staring. I can see why they were called the “eyes of Horus”. Rather disconcerting. He knew how to open the bathroom door, and when we had guests he would go in and watch. The ladies were quite disturbed. Actually he didn’t care about them peeing, he knew that when they got off the porcelain spring it would have cold water. If he thought about it at all, he probable thought she pee’d clear spring water. Here’s a picture I think shows what I’m talking about. Oddly enough the reason I got him was an idiot in the neighborhood had asked the spca to pick up the stray cats in the neighborhood. the mice population exploded. lucky she didn’t start black death II.

While I’m talking about critters, has anybody ever seen a tiger? I don’t mean those wimpy little things you see in the zoo. I mean a TIGER. Living in Singapore you tend to forget that right across jahore bahru is tropical jungle. My wife and I would go into Malaya for the beach. On one of these outings I saw a tiger strolling down the beach, and decided to take a swim. My original plan was to swim to the Philipines, but then I remembered that these waters were notorious for sharks. So, as I wait waist deep, I make a mental note to myself “in the future, if there is one, try to maintain better situational awareness”. For some reason, these things seem bigger when there are no bars between you.

Yet another critter I ran into in Singapore. This is the Singapura, found nowhere else. Called the Singapore love cat because of their affectionate nature. Smaller than a domestic cat they are quite rare outside of Singapore where they are considered a national treasure. Affectionate little beggers. Singapura

Blue Russian

Ah here’s a jewel. One spring in NC I was airing out the house, and saw a flash of movement going under my bed. Figuring it was one of my cats I ignored it for awhile. When it didn’t come out I got down on the floor to coax it out. It was a really scrawny cat, weighing less than 3 pounds and filthy. After vacuuming it I found it to be a beautiful cat. Have you ever seen a blue animal? I hadn’t. The picture doesn’t do it justice, it had an irridescent sheen when the light flectorized off it. So I did some research. It looks like a Russian Blue, a favorite of Tzar Nicholas who was the only one allowed to have them. When the Romanov family was executed the cats were killed with them. Bye, Bye rusian blue. BUT! It later turned out that Tzar Nicholas had given 12 of them to the King of Sweden at the time. They’re really quite rare. He had been declawed, and I really didn’t have any use for a cat that couldn’t back off a doberman, so I contacted the blue russian society. They were quite skeptical, they knew where all the blue russians were, don’t you know? I sent them some pictures and they sent someone out to check him out. He was sitting on the hood of my car when she arrived and she ignored me and said “Holy shit, it really is a blue russian”. She scooped it up and I could see I’d have to fight her to get it back. There’s no mistaking it if you’ve ever seen one. They had no idea where it came from. Not bad for something you find under the bed.

Here’s another odd one. At dusk one day toodling down a country road in NC I saw this animal on the side of the road in much the same posture as the picture. It looked like a dingo, which I had seen in Australia (huge ears, right size). “What in the hell is a dingo doing in NC?” A few days later I had taken one of my cats to the vet and saw a poster offering a $1000 reward for a serval cat. Damn it looked like what I saw. I called her up to tell her about it and a few days these same posters began appearing around the neighborhood. A few days later she called me back to say she got her cat. Someone had seen the poster came home from work and saw it waiting with his cat in the driveway. He opened the garage door, they both went in, and he closed it and called her up. She told me she paid $5000 for it and it could run 50 MPH. it’s like a mini cheetah. Which left me to wonder “why would anyone pay $5000 for a cat, specially one that could run 5o MPH?”

I lived in the country and occasionally would see this one along with mine at the food bowl. Didn’t seem very friendly though.

The Black Death was one of the deadliest pandemics in human history, peaking in Europe between 1348 and 1350. Cats fell out of grace beginning with pope innocent III. (Pope idiot III) doesn’t he look like a goober? He started the black death.
Nefertiti. A lot of people do not know that sometimes the pharohs were black. There was the lower kingdom which was up on the map, then there was the upper kingdom which was low on the map. Go figure. That’s why I picked the choclate princess above.
