The Rose

The Rose

Yet another attempt to explain what’s happening in the minds. Left mind speacializing in top down thinking. Right mind specializing in bottom up thinking.

I know this is squishy, the words do not exist for how the minds work. View the left mind as a rose based system and the right mind as a root based system.

In the left mind above the surface is the rose, the shortcut, the set point, the bottom line. If the input matches the rose, the input is confirmed. “it’s a rose” (1/2 second) But let’s say it’s not a rose, then the left algorithm is searched (dendrites) for a match. If no match is made the right algorithm is searched for consistancies, if no match is made the “best answer to date” right “maybe flower?” if this anwer does not suffice the right mind may A) muse (search for non inconsistincies) or B) blow it off (dunno)

Emotional problems up to and including a mental breakdown occurs when there is a top down logic fail (it’s a tarantula) and the dendrites get ripped out by the roots. The left algorithm has a “blind spot”. depending on how bad this blind spot is the person may go to plan B, operating in bottom up mode. This is called psychosis by a psychologist. The concept that got demolished must grow new roots in the left mind based on an inverted right mind root system. Gotta find a new home. They’re looking for a home
