The inconsistincies
Mr T always gets me thinking,
walt,
it is difficult for me, now, to conceive of how one could think of ‘driving’ as an intellect and purpose-directed behaviour. (the logical sense of driving). if the driver is dealing with a trip down the embankment, then to say that his driving skill got him through it safely is like saying his bull-riding skill got him through it safely; i.e. we flip to the experiential sense of driving.
if he is logically driving on the smooth road surface (powerboating) and he flips to experiential driving as he bumps and grinds down the embankment, at what point does the switch occur?
answer: there is no switch, experiential driving is the primary reality while logical driving (intellect and purpose-directed driving) is an idealized way of understanding ‘driving’.
tell me that this is more complicated than i am presenting it because it seems straight forward as hell to me right now.
oops, … its that time of the morning again,
ciao,
ted
It’s just that simple, What seems odd to me (inconsistent) is that no one notices the embankment.
It is really hard to add to this except to point out that we have two ways of viewing the world, (TD/BU, intrinsic/eztrinsic, yin/yang whatever) restricted by blinders (worldviews)
They can’t see the red button as different. They can’t tell when they’ve run off the road.
